Tianna's approach to photography is deeply personal, shaped by her own motherhood journey and her daily work supporting women as a midwife. This dual perspective allows her to frame pregnancy and motherhood portraits with authenticity, patience and genuine emotional connection, creating images that feel both intimate and celebratory. Her Nikon journey began without much technical knowledge, but the Nikon D3200 immediately felt right, paired with a NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 lens that gave her early work a professional quality despite its entry-level status. Over time, Tianna progressed through the Nikon Z series, working with the Nikon Z6, Nikon Z6II, Nikon Z6III, Nikon Z8, and occasionally the Nikon Z9 and Nikon Z7II. Her current favourite combination pairs the Nikon Z8 with the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 lens, a setup she describes as delivering exceptional clarity alongside beautiful compression, ideal for the emotive, close-focused nature of her portrait work. Through this evolving relationship with Nikon cameras and NIKKOR lenses, Tianna continues to refine a visual style rooted in tenderness, strength and celebration.
